The world is experiencing multiple crises: economic, social and environmental. We live in an increasingly unsustainable world. From the destructive effects of climate change to the divisive effects of inequality, people are confused and anxious about the future. Fear rises and discord reigns. How do we build a more equitable and sustainable society?

Sustainable prosperity requires that the products and technology we create be designed to harmonize with the ecology of the planet. The focus must shift from using our creations to control nature to creating in a way that blends with the needs of our natural world. The value of technology depends on how we use it, and its sustainability depends on how it is designed. Our overarching goal is to meet present needs without compromising future generation’s ability to meet theirs.
