A Thank You Letter
From Shuangquan Wang
Dear Dr. Schwerin and Mrs Joan Schwerin,
In these beautiful Spring days, full of green splendor, I am so lucky to participate in the Second Postmodern Psychology Forum held in Claremont and Philadelphia. We received a very warm welcome and wonderful treatment from our hosts, the Schwerin’s, and their friends as soon as we arrived in Philadelphia. In your beautiful house we sang, danced, chatted and shared friendships. All of these made me, a visitor from Mongolia’s grassland, feel very much at home. The two of you and your Pathwork friends taught us about from the heart and we learned a great deal from your Pathwork presentations.
You also generously donated your books and DVDs and patiently signed your names in them for us. All of this expressed your sincere feelings of friendship to us. We deeply felt your great love across our country’s boundaries, your warmth across oceans and real sincerity between friends. This open-hearted welcome has been engraved in the depth of our souls.
Time is short. It is neither easy to meet nor to say goodbye. Please take good care of yourselves. “Thank you” is what we want to say from our heart at this moment. Like mountains will be green forever and rivers will flow forever, our friendship will last forever. Although we live in different countries, we have more in common than we sometimes realize. I hope we can stay in touch and communicate often and when you next visit China please visit Mongolia and bring your valuable wisdom and virtue to us.
Finally, we wish the two of you good health, prosperous times and harmonious relationships. We also want to thank Professor Zhihe Wang and Meijun Fan for their hard work and a special thanks to all your American Pathwork friends.
Your friend, Shuangquan Wang
